Where we're working
The Northern Uganda Literacy Project is currently active in Lango and Kumam, working with two distinct local languages, Lëblaŋo and Kumam. We hope to scale up our literacy project throughout the Lango Sub-region beginning in 2014. In Kumam we are laying the groundwork for implementation of an early primary literacy project by supporting orthography development and community education activities.
We are carefully documenting our model and its implementation so other language communities may benefit from our experience.
